school Using the scanner — a plain-English guide
Filter pills — what each one does
All: Every scrip that traded today, ranked by the AI's setup score (volume × momentum × RS).
Gainers: Positive change % today, biggest movers first. Great for spotting sector-level momentum.
Losers: Negative change % today, biggest drops first. Watch for potential bounces — but avoid trying to catch falling knives.
High Volume: Top 60 scrips by today's volume. High volume = real money moving. Combine with Gainers for the strongest buy candidates.
Near High: Trading in the top 15% of today's day-range — breakout candidates. If the market is bullish, these often continue up.
≤ Rs.400: Affordable scrips. Useful if you're position-sizing on a small account.
RS+: Relative-strength positive vs NEPSE. This scrip is beating the market today.
Watchlist: Just the ones you've saved. Defaults to a handful of blue-chips.
Reading the columns
LTP (Last Traded Price): Most recent trade price in this cycle.
Change %: vs yesterday's close. Green = up, red = down.
Volume: Shares traded today. Compare peers — high volume on a gainer is a stronger signal than a quiet drift up.
Day Range: Where LTP sits between today's low and high. A dot near the right end = trading near the day's high (breakout territory).
RS vs NEPSE: Relative strength — this scrip's change % minus NEPSE's. Positive = outperforming the market. Buying market-beaters is a well-known edge.
A workflow that works
- Pick a filter that matches your intent (e.g., High Volume + Gainers).
- Skim the top 10 rows for a Day Range dot on the right (near-high) AND a positive RS badge.
- Cross-check the scrip on AI Watch — is it in the Approved BUY list?
- Note the AI's SL and Target. That's your exit plan before you click buy.
- Set price alerts on the Alerts page so you don't have to babysit.
