school How the AI decides — a plain-English guide
The gate chain (why very few scrips make the BUY table)

Every 60–90 seconds during market hours, the worker runs every listed scrip through this pipeline. Only scrips that pass all gates end up in the Approved BUY table.

  1. Enough data: at least 22 minute-candles today (≈ 22 minutes into the session).
  2. Volume floor: today's volume vs recent average must be above MIN_VOLUME_RATIO_FOR_BUY (default 0.8×).
  3. Trend + price above EMAs: price closing above EMA-9 and EMA-21, near a breakout level.
  4. RSI band: 40 ≤ RSI ≤ 75 (below = weak momentum; above = overbought).
  5. Sector health: the sector must not be currently on the "toxic" blocklist (learned from paper campaign — see Edge Stats).
  6. Fundamentals: STRONG_BUY requires verified company_fundamentals; regular BUY is allowed without them (with a score penalty).
  7. Risk & regime: stop-loss inside MAX_STOP_LOSS_PCT, R/R above MIN_BUY_RR, market not in strong bearish regime.
Approved BUY (top table): Only scrips that cleared every gate. Confidence pill: HIGH = strong evidence, MEDIUM = worth looking, LOW = borderline. Confidence LOW is blocked from paper-trade entry.
Entry / SL / Target: The AI's suggested prices. Entry = trigger price. SL (Stop Loss) = exit if price drops to this level (caps loss). Target = exit if price hits this level (locks profit).
Sector Health Map: Each tile is a NEPSE sector. Derived from today's live scrip ticks — average change % across the sector. Green = strong (favor). Red = weak (don't add here). Neutral = mixed.
Indicator Diagnostics feed: Per-cycle summary: how many scrips were scanned, how many had enough data, how many became BUY / WATCH, and what rejected the rest (volume / RSI / VWAP / regime). If BUY = 0 for many cycles in a row, gates are tight or the market is weak.
Paper Trade History: Trades the AI took on paper (no real money) to prove edge. Requires sign-in to see per-account history. The public snapshot only exposes aggregate stats (Edge Stats page).
Framework note: The gates aren't fixed. Every night at 22:00–22:15 UTC, the system proposes tighter/looser parameters based on what worked in the last 30 days of paper trades. If the shadow_ab test confirms improvement, the new parameter goes live automatically. See Edge Stats for the audit trail.
How to actually use this page
  1. Look at the Sector Health Map first — if your target sector is red, skip.
  2. Check the Approved BUY table — pick a scrip with HIGH or MEDIUM confidence.
  3. Note the SL and Target — that's your risk plan before you click buy.
  4. Cross-check the Diagnostics feed — how many BUYs have there been today? If this is #1 of the day, be extra cautious.
  5. Set alerts on the Alerts page for the SL + Target so you don't miss the exit.
